VOV.VN - A spring festival opened in the Mekong delta province of Can Tho on January 28, two weeks ahead of the Lunar New Year festival, known locally as Tet.

The event is held at the city’s museum to celebrate both the 13th National Party Congress and the annual Tet festival.

Various craft villages put their products on display during the festival.

A wide range of cultural activities are taking place, including cake making and cultural identity preservation.

The festival is scheduled to last through to February 1, but  the calligraphic and book booths are set to close on February 16.

Throughout the event, locals follow novel coronavirus (COVID-19) prevention and control measures implemented by the Health Ministry.
