VOV.VN - The Ministry of Defense joined the Hanoi Capital High Command to thoroughly spray disinfectant throughout the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Hanoi’s outlying district of Dong Anh on May 6 following the detection of dozens of COVID-19 cases.

Soldiers start work on sanitising the site at 1:30 p.m. on May 6.

A total of 75 soldiers are mobilised to carry out the task.

The hospital has been locked down for contact tracing, chemical disinfection and COVID-19 testing after a doctor was diagnosed with the virus.

At present 50 positive COVID-19 cases have been detected in relation to the hospital.
