The five Moc villages’ festival encompasses the five villages of Quan Nhan, Chinh Kinh, Cu Loc, Giap Nhat, and Phung Khoang. Starting at 5:30 a.m. on March 3, a procession departs from Phung Khoang village and runs through Nguyen Trai road before eventually reaching Quan Nhan village as the final destination.

The festival was originally held from the 10th to the 12th day of the second lunar month in order to pay tribute to the villages’ tutelary gods. This year the occasion will run from March 1 to March 3.

In 2021 the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism officially recognised the festival of the five Moc villages as part of the country’s national intangible cultural heritage, thereby encouraging locals to continue preserving and promoting the festival.
