A total of 20 colourful hot air balloons of various shapes and sizes are exhibited along the coast.

The highlight of the festival is a national flag salute ceremony, drawing the participation of 2,000 locals and tourists on the morning of April 1.

Other cultural activities including the display and introduction of coastal cultural products, a traditional singing, a whale worshiping ritual, and folk games will get underway during the course of the festival.
