The special art programme titled “Under the Glorious Flag of the Party” takes place at Hanoi’s My Dinh National Stadium, culminating in a large-scale artistic fireworks display, described as the most spectacular ever staged in the capital.

The fireworks are not presented as a single closing act but are strategically integrated at key moments throughout the performance to sustain momentum and guide the audience’s emotions.

The visual effects are arranged in progressively intensifying layers, building steadily toward a powerful and dynamic climax, creating a sense of continuous escalation and spectacle as the grand concert unfolds.

“Several types of fireworks are appearing in Vietnam for the first time, combined with artistic effects specially programmed for this grand concert. The display is designed to be rich in colour, form and variation, creating a spectacular ‘stage of light’ across the night sky of the capital,” says a representative of the organising committee.

The fireworks launch area is arranged in multiple layers, making use of the space inside the stadium while extending beyond it to expand coverage and visibility.

The display features nearly 10,000 high-altitude fireworks, supported by a modern pyrotechnic launch system and installed and operated by a team of 80 domestic and international specialists.

Specifically, 950 fireworks fountain launchers and 4,400 pyrotechnic tubes are installed directly on the roof and along both sides of the Stand B at My Dinh National Stadium, following a curved, amphitheatre-like layout. This configuration creates a lighting effect that appears to “embrace” the stadium’s architecture, while enhancing the overall sense of theatrical staging for the performance.

Outside the stadium, a high-altitude fireworks zone is set up along Le Duc Tho Street near the Aquatics Sports Complex. Arranged in this linear spatial layout, the high-altitude fireworks erupt in successive clusters, expanding the “frontline” of light beyond the stadium’s core and creating clearly defined waves of climax in line with the intended staging concept.

The fireworks performance is scripted by experts from Malaysia-based Global2000 International, a leading fireworks consultancy and long-time partner of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival.

The Capital Command and Chemical Company 21 work closely together on developing the scenario and arranging the launch sites, ensuring that all technical components are implemented in a synchronised and seamless manner.

By combining large scale, precise programming technology and the strategic placement of fireworks around carefully timed emotional “impact points”, the display at My Dinh Stadium is expected to create a standout visual moment during the special art programme.

According to the organisers, the special art programme is conceived as a grand music spectacle combined with fireworks on an unprecedented scale, featuring the participation of nearly 10,000 artists and performers.

The event brings together meticulously choreographed artistic performances and fireworks displays, including several types of fireworks making their debut in Vietnam.

This marks the first time Hanoi has hosted a large-scale cultural and political event integrating an artistic fireworks display for an audience of 25,000 people, including 15,000 delegates and guests and nearly 10,000 artists and performers.
