The Ministry of Defense stages the rehearsal at Gia Lam airfield on the outskirts of Hanoi which is also the venue for this year’s exhibition.

The opening ceremony of the expo themed Peace – Friendship - Cooperation for Mutual Development will feature a performance by 2,000 officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People’s Army, and will last for approximately an hour.

The Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 is scheduled to take place at Gia Lam airfield from December 19 to 22. People are allowed to visit the exhibition from 9a.m. on December 21, earlier than the originally planned time of 1:30p.m.

As many as 242 domestic and international units and businesses have registered to display products and technologies at the exhibition that spans more than 100,000m², with an indoor display area of 15,000m².
