Maj. Gen. Nguyen Hong Son, director of the 175 Military Hospital, says all staff must put in every effort to establish the centre in just one day in order to help reduce the overload faced by many hospitals throughout the southern city.

HCM City has recorded more than 32,000 COVID-19 patients since the resurgence of the virus in late April, making up more than half of the country’s total.
