Multimedia Photos Coronavirus - hit K Cancer Hospital lifts lockdown Tuesday, 15:02, 15/06/2021 VOV.VN - The Minister of Health has decided to lift a 37-day lockdown placed on the K Cancer Hospital's Tan Trieu facility in Hanoi as no new COVID-19 cases were detected. The Ministry of Health announces the end of the 37-day isolation placed on the K Cancer Hospital’s Tan Trieu facility on June 14. Competent agencies remove barriers placed around the facility following the decision made by the Minister of Health. The Minister of Health has swiftly put the site in lockdown after the first positive case was recorded on May 7. Since then the hospital hasn’t been receiving patients for examination or treatment, except in emergency cases. Mass testing for all doctors, nurses, healthcare workers, and patients are part of measures in place to halt the spread of the virus. After lifting lockdown measures, the hospital has arranged vehicles to transport the patients and their relatives back to their hometowns across the country. Hygiene work has been maintained at the facility to curb the possible emergence of the virus. The hospital is due to resume normal work from June 16.
