VOV.VN - Nguyen Hue Flower Street is now ready to open to the public on January 27 evening to mark the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025.
A giant snake mascot named “Lady Ty” at the end of the flower street has an extremely impressive interface, representing a special highlight of the Nguyen Hue Flower Street this year.
This mascot is modelled after a king cobra with its head raised high, stretching for 50 metres in length and more than10 metres in height.
The female snake embodies the elegance of a Southern Vietnamese woman with its signature scarf and conical hat.
The flower street features three giant snake mascots "Kim Ty" (gold snake), "Ngan Ty" (silver snake), and the Lady Ty.
There are about 90 additional snake mascots set up for this year’s flower street.
In addition, a total of 109,000 flower baskets of various types such as apricots, chrysanthemums, cockscombs, periwinkles, roses, and orchids are expected to create a vibrant colourful space and provide visitors with many check-in corners.
This year's flower street also contributes to enhancing the role of the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Agricultural Zone with many corners decorated to feature agricultural products like vegetables, lingzhi mushrooms, eggplants, and melons.
Several construction items on the flower street are ready ahead of its opening.
In just a few hours, residents and tourists can see with their own eyes the mascot couple Kim Ty (female) and Ngan Ty (male) that have gone viral on social networks in recent days.
Environmental workers put the final touches on miniature landscapes, replace damaged flower pots, and clean up the flower street to welcome visitors.
Many miniature landscapes around the site appear like paintings imbued with Vietnamese culture, with a harmonious combination of conical hats, paddy fields, and brilliant flowers.
Roofs are covered with thatch and corn that showcase Vietnamese culture.
The Tet space on Nguyen Hue Flower Street is both diverse and impressive, promising to bring unforgettable experiences to visitors this Tet.
Nguyen Hue Flower Street is expected open to the public from 7:00 p.m. on January 27 (or the 28th day of the lunar calendar) until 9:00 p.m. on February 2 (the fifth day of Tet).
Many foreign tourists are keen to snap photos when passing by.
