The two sides also exchange views on development goals and orientations, agreeing to enhance coordination among Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.

On February 6, Party chief To Lam meets Heng Samrin, Honourary President of the Cambodian People’s Party, agreeing on the need to strengthen public communication and education on the two countries’ shared history of solidarity and mutual support, with a view to reinforcing long-term, comprehensive and sustainable Vietnam–Cambodia relations.

Communist Party of Vietnam General Secretary To Lam and Cambodian People’s Party President Hun Sen attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the Cambodia–Vietnam Friendship School. The school that currently comprises 11 buildings with 54 classrooms will be expanded with two multipurpose administrative buildings, eight primary and secondary school blocks totaling 200 classrooms, two canteens and auxiliary facilities.
