Situated in Kon Chu Rang Nature Reserve in Kbang district of the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai, K50 Waterfall is blessed with picturesque beauty, undoubtedly making itself a must-visit site for backpackers. Located roughly 100km from Pleiku city, the area still retains its unspoiled features due to its remote geographical location coupled with the bumpy roads leading there. The waterfall stands at around 54m high with a width of between 20m and 100m depending on the seas. In order to conquer the K50 Waterfall, visitors must complete a four-hour trek across small, snaky roads and sleepy slopes, starting from An Lao district in Binh Dinh province. If travelers begin their journey at K’Bang town in Gia Lai district, they will require the assistance of a local ranger due to difficulties in navigating the jungle. The best time to visit K50 Waterfall is between January and June as the weather is warm, sunny, and less rainy. Before beginning their journey, tourists should inform the rangers at Kon Chu Rang Nature Reserve in advance. In addition, they should also check the weather to avoid any unexpected spells of rain so that they will not miss out on any part of this interesting adventure. The waterfall boasts an array of breathtaking beauty within the dense jungle. VOV Photos: Phan Nguyen/Tien Phong
