WorldFood Moscow provides good chance for Vietnam businesses

VOV.VN - Dozens of Vietnam businesses are displaying their products at the 25th International Food Exhibition (WordFood Moscow 2016) at Expo Center in Moscow on September 12-15.

Hoang Van Du, Deputy Director of Centre for Agricultural Trade Promotion (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development), said Russia is a potential market with more than 140 million consumers of agricultural and aquatic products.

The exhibition provides a good chance for Vietnam businesses to promote their country’s images and introduce products to Russia and neighbouring markets, Mr Du said.

They also attend a wide range of seminars on healthy agricultural products and food within the framework of the exhibition, he added.

The participating businesses have gained a firm foothold on international markets. They include Duy Anh, Tan An Khang, Tan Phat, HANFIMEX, Long An Food, TH True Milk and Hai Vuong Seafood Company.

On the first days of the exhibition, Vietnam businesses welcomed many Russian customers who wanted to know more about Vietnam goods and services and to seek opportunities to sign import-export contracts with Vietnamese partners.

WordFood Moscow 2016 drew in more than 1,500 suppliers of agricultural products and food from 63 countries.
