During the week, exchanges will be held between Vietnamese businesses and Aeon group’s importers on June 6, and there will be presentations for Vietnamese products and business capacity, on the regulations and standards for imported goods, and on Japanese consumer tastes and the required standards for products to enter Aeon distribution networks.
Nguyen Thi Mai Anh, deputy director of the Hanoi Investment, Trade and Tourism Center, says the preparations for the week are almost finished.
More than 40 kinds of agricultural products and essential goods have been exported to Japan for sale at Aeon supermarkets, Mai says. A wide range of promotion activities will be held during the week to attract more local customers, she adds.
The first event was held in 2016 with the aim of expanding trade ties with Aeon group’s importers and other Japanese businesses.
