Vietnam business forum in Canada
(VOV) - The Vietnam Embassy in Canada, World Trade Center Winnipeg and Manitoba authorities have held a business forum in Ottawa to introduce Canadian investors to investment opportunities in Vietnam.
Vietnam Ambassador to Canada To Anh Dung highlighted Vietnam’s achievements and sound relations between the two countries in recent years.
He also stressed the Vietnamese Government’s determination to improve the business and investment environment and called on businesses from Canada and particularly Manitoba to invest in Vietnam.
Vietnam Trade Counselor to Canada Hoang Anh Dung, after that introduced Vietnam’s business environment and opportunities for Canadian investors.

At the forum, Manitoba’s Agricultural Minister and Winnipeg City’s Mayor as well as other speakers applauded Vietnam’s achievements in its national renewal process and fine development of bilateral relations in recent years, especially in trade and investment.
The two-day forum aimed to promote Vietnam’s land, people, business and investment environment and contributed to enhancing politic, economic and investment relations between Vietnam and Canada, and Manitoba in particular .
Immediately after the forum, two Canadian businesses wished to contact Vietnamese partners to import footwear and office furniture and set up a distribution channel for Canada’s products for roadbed treatment and control of water pollution in aquaculture in Vietnam.
