Moscow forum enhances Vietnam’s entrepreneurship
(VOV) - On November 11, a worldwide forum of Vietnamese entrepreneurs was held in Moscow, attracting hundreds of Vietnamese entrepreneurs from different countries across the globe.
In an opening remark, Ambassador to Russia Nguyen Thanh Son hailed the form as the demonstration of Vietnamese businesses’ resolve to enhance stronger connectivity with their Russian partners.
Tran Bac Ha, President of the Bank for Industry and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), urged local businesses to intensify trade and tourism promotion programs abroad and expand long-term economic cooperation with the 13 nations Vietnam has set up a comprehensive strategic partnership.
State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs Vice Chairman Le Quoc Thinh, in turn underscored the point that the Party and State have always facilitated overseas Vietnamese’s investments in their countries of residence to make greater contributions to the development of communities.
“Vietnamese entrepreneurs should fully grasp mechanisms and business support policies as well as fundamental contents of bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements to bolster their trade links,” Thinh noted.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thanh Hai echoed Thinh’s view as underlining the need to thoroughly research FTAs to seize plenty of opportunities for exports of ‘Made-in Vietnam’ products to the global market.
Topics of the Vietnam business community’s major concern was focussed on TPP and investment opportunities in the US, know-how to deal with difficulties and take full advantage of cooperation opportunities, and administrative, customs and banking procedures.
On the sidelines of the event, a Vietnam high quality product fair opened on November 12 at the INCENTRA complex in Moscow along with other relevant seminars and forums.
