India imposes AD duty on Vietnam measuring tapes
VOV.VN - The Indian Directorate General of Anti-Dumping & Allied Duties (DGAD) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has imposed anti-dumping duties of US$1.87-2.77 per kilo on measuring tapes imported from Vietnam.
The Vietnam Competition Authority under the Ministry of Industry and Trade announced the information on March 15.
The Designated Authority received a written application in July 2015 from FMI Limited in Ludhiana, on behalf of the domestic measuring tape producers, alleging dumping of the subject goods from Chinese Taipei, Malaysia, Thailand & Vietnam.
According to VCA, Vietnam and other countries are imposed quite high AD duties because not any producers from the subject countries responded to the questionnaires within the prescribed time limits.
