Hanoi to host Vietship 2016

VOV.VN - The 8th International Exhibition of Shipbuilding, Marine Technology, and Transportation (VietShip 2016) will take place at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi on February 24-26.

Organized by the Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (SBIC), Vietship 2016 will draw around 130 companies, 78 of them came from 15 countries, namely Germany, the Netherlands, Turkey, the US, France, the UK, Finland, Denmark, the Republic of Korea, Norway, Russia, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and China.

They will showcase their products and services on 220 pavilions, such as shipbuilding, marine technology and transportation, transportation and waterway transportation services, finance and insurance, marine and offshore equipment, navigation equipment, hydrometeorology forecast equipment, welding technology and materials, testers, shipbuilding materials, paints, chemicals and fuels, ship accommodation; individual equipment like life-saving facilities, safety wear and lifebuoy; research and innovated technology application in design and shipbuilding; and port and port services such as storage, fuel station, inland and land transportation.

The event will offer a good chance for businesses and investors to approach useful information, share state-of-art technologies and seek investment opportunities to further accelerate the development of the shipbuilding industry. It will be an ideal place for domestic businesses to meet foreign partners, attract foreign investment and promote trade, said SBIC leaders. 

The exhibition is expected to lure around 10,000 visitors, including government officials, representatives of ministries, commercial counselors of the nations, leaders of corporations, groups, and companies, leading specialists, and project owners.
