Domestic gold drops to VND46 million/tael
(VOV) -The domestic gold price saw a sudden drop to VND46 million/tael in October 22 transactions.
At 15:46 pm, SJC gold was traded in Ho Chi Minh City at VND45.93 million per tael for buying and VND46.13 million per tael for selling, while the price hovered around VND45.98-46.16 million in Hanoi, a decrease of more than VND170,000 per tael compared to the previous transaction day.
Earlier in the day, SJC gold in Hanoi was listed at VND46.2-46.36 million per tael, and it stood at VND46.1-46.3 million per tael in Ho Chi Minh City.
Domestic gold prices fell by VND 800,000 per tael last week, and economists forecast they would continue dropping this week.
