Vinatex intent on second factory construction in Kien Giang

Construction work on the 3.7 ha facility in An Bien district will commence on March 14 and is expected for completion in the first quarter of 2017.

With a total capacity of 12 million products per year and 12 production lines, the factory is set to generate roughly nearly US$37 million in annual revenue and 2,000 jobs, and contribute approximately US$218,000 to the State budget annually.

Last year, Vinatex's first factory entered its operations in Go Quao district, employing 2,000 locals.

The group and its affiliates have invested in 11 plants in the Mekong Delta region, creating 23,000 jobs for the locals.
