Long An works to tackle difficulties of RoK firms
Long An authority had a dialogue on April 6 with representatives of business of the Republic of Korea to remove obstacles in their production and business in the southern province.

At the event, the RoK firms such as RIOVINA, Songwol Vina, Yupoong Long An, Shilla Bags International voiced their difficulties relating to electricity, water, production, recruitment and the use of employees, environmental issues and customs procedure.
Long An has made improvements in investment licensing, administrative procedures in construction, natural resources and environment, they said, suggesting the province keep local firms promptly updated on changes to facilitate their implementation.
Local authorities answered questions of the RoK firms and pledged to continue addressing the obstacles facing them.
Long An province is currently home to over 900 FDI projects from 37 countries and territories, with combined registered capital of nearly US$5,717 million.
Of them, 160 are from the RoK, worth nearly US$600 million. The RoK projects are mainly in infrastructure, real estate, manufacturing, apparel, animal food in the key industrial districts of Duc Hoa, Ben Luc, Can Giuoc, and Tan An city.
On the occasion, the Long An authority introduced and called for investments in several key economic projects on computing and electronic assembling and spare parts, marine transport, seaport and logistics.
