Jetstar to modernize fleet with purchase of 10 Airbus
VOV.VN - Jetstar Pacific has announced the signing of a US$117 million credit agreement with VietinBank to fund the purchase of 10 Airbus A320ceo aircraft.
In making the announcement, Le Hong Ha, CEO of Jetstar Pacific, said the airline plans to take delivery of all of the aircraft in 2017, as part of an overall plan to modernize the airline’s fleet by 2020.
Jetstar Pacific is the first low-cost airline in Vietnam, which has had 33 domestic and international air routes and connected to global Jetstar network with 75 destinations and 4,000 flights per week.
The airline has two main shareholders including Vietnam Airlines (holding 70% of stake) and Australia’s Quantas Airways (30% stake).
