Japan businesses seek agricultural investment opportunities in Vietnam
(VOV) - A Japan business delegation began a six-day tour of Vietnamese localities on December 7 to seek investment opportunities in agriculture, according to the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO).
Thirty-two businesses planned to visit agricultural production zones in Hanoi, HCM City and Thai Binh, Lam Dong and Can Tho provinces. They will make a farm study tour, conduct market research and meet with local leaders and representatives of agribusinesses.
A JETRO representative said the Japanese businesses are keen on investing in the production of fertilizer, seed variety and agricultural machines and want to buy some agricultural products from Vietnamese partners.
