ICTI seeks investment opportunity in Vietnam

VOV.VN - Germany-based toy manufacturing company Bullyland AG, member of the International Council of Toy Industries (ICTI), has made a fact-finding tour of HCM City to seek investment and cooperation opportunity.

At a working session with city leaders on March 1, Arthur Ruland, Bullyland AG General Director, revealed that the company plans to move its manufacturing plant from Indonesia to Vietnam with the hope that made-in Vietnam products will appear on the world market.

Mr Ruland said that ICTI also wish to send a managing director and representatives of 15-20 businesses to Vietnam for a survey before building a factory in HCM City.

Vice Chairman of the HCM City Municipal People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem spoke highly of ICTI’s plan to build toy manufacturing factories in HCM City.

Hai said HCM City has a population of around 10 million, including 1 million children with high demand for toys.

The city always gives the best possible conditions for businesses to invest and create toys to educate and stimulate children’s creativeness.
