VinFast to introduce four EV models at Los Angeles Auto Show 2022
VOV.VN - Vietnamese automaker VinFast will introduce four of its electric vehicle (EV) models - VF 6, VF 7, VF 8 and VF 9 - at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2022 (LAAS 2022) slated for November 17-28, the automaker, an affiliate of Vietnam’s largest private economic conglomerate Vingroup, said on November 11.
The American customers will have the opportunity to enjoy the interior and exterior design of the two VF 6 and VF 7 models created by Torino Design and experience the VF 8 ride-along at the test track area as well as its integrated smart technologies for the first time.
After a year of launching a global electric vehicle brand, the company wants to show the public about the future of mobility, with VF 8 expected to reach international customers shortly, said Le Thi Thu Thuy, vice chairwoman of Vingroup and Global CEO of VinFast.
With four electric SUV models spanning all segments and a flexible sales policy, VinFast wishes to provide customers with diverse options, making it easier for them to access high-quality EVs at reasonable prices and excellent services towards greener and more sustainable future, she noted.
Lisa Kaz, CEO of Los Angeles Auto Show, expressed her excitement about the EV models that VinFast will bring to the show this year while highlighting the company’s commitment to providing consumers with best experience and its efforts to develop EVs globally.
Los Angeles Auto Show is willing to accompany VinFast on the global trend of electrification that encourages consumers to use EVs towards greener and more sustainable future, said Kaz.
After a year of launching the global EV series, VinFast has received great customer support from across the globe with more than 65,000 pre-orders put in for models VF 8 and VF 9.
Of the total, the VF 8 model has been handed over to Vietnamese customers since September 2022, and thousands of the vehicle are expected to ship to international markets by the end of this year.
