VinFast secures leading market share in Vietnamese automobile market

VOV.VN - Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) maker VinFast unveiled that it delivered more than 11,000 electric vehicles (EV) of all kinds to customers in October, raising the total number of EV deliveries to more than 51,000 units during the 10-month period to secure its place as the best-selling car brand in the Vietnamese automobile market.

The two best-selling EV models include the VF 3 with nearly 5,000 units and the VF 5 with more than 2,600 units.

Other models consist of the VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, VF 9, and VF e34, all of which prove that consumers have increasingly favored EVs and support the trend towards green mobility.

Within just five years of entering the market, VinFast has not only affirmed its solid position, but also surpassed foreign car brands in order capture the largest market share.

Most notably, VinFast is also the first EV brand to surpass rival gasoline car brands after only two years of switching to pure electric to become the market leader.

The company's outstanding growth not only affirms the capacity, bravery, and class of Vietnamese people in the high-tech industry, but also shows the support of consumers for the smart and environmentally-friendly EV product line.

Pham Nhat Vuong, chairman of Vingroup and CEO of VinFast Global, attributed these remarkable achievements in production and service quality to joint efforts made by hundreds of thousands of VinFast customers.
