VinFast hands over first 27 VF 9 cars to customers

The handover of the EVs just after over a year of debuting affirms the company’s production capacity and speed as part of the global automobile market.

The VF 9 model has a six-seater design that has been inspired by business class aircraft cabins, with two captain seats in the second row, combined with a large armrest. These features aim to provide customers with a feeling which is both luxurious and spacious.

Furthermore, the VinFast VF 9 also has two trims, the Eco and Plus. It is integrated with an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) and a set of smart entertainment and utility applications (Smart Services).

After the handover ceremony took place in the three major cities, VinFast will deliver the EVs nationwide according to the order number of the deposit, with customers able to pick up their EVs either at the store or at home.

Along with the six-seat design, VinFast VF 9 also has a seven-seat option which is expected to be delivered to customers in the near future.

Le Thi Thu Thuy, vice chairwoman of Vingroup and Global CEO of VinFast, emphasised that the handover of VF 9 model marks the beginning of a series of events that VinFast will continue to organise on a global scale moving forward.

She revealed that the company plans to export the second batch of VF 8 EVs to the international market and hand over the VF 5 Plus in the Vietnamese market this April.

Following the Vietnamese market, VinFast expects to roll out export plans for the first VF 9 batch to international markets, as well as opening sales of VF 6 and VF 7 models over the coming months, Thuy said.

“I believe that VinFast's high-quality electric cars will meet all customers' needs, bringing maximum satisfaction to customers not only in Vietnam but around the world," she noted.
