VinFast delivers more than 20,000 EVs in December 2024

VOV.VN - Vietnamese car maker VinFast has announced that it delivered over 20,000 electric vehicles (EVs) in December 2024, reinforcing its leading position in the Vietnamese automobile market.

The figure has raised the total number of cars delivered for the entire year of 2024 in Vietnam alone to more than 87,000.

Boasting an outstanding sales record, VinFast officially exceeded its set sales target, firmly consolidating its position as the best-selling car brand in the nation.

Accordingly, the number of VinFast cars delivered to customers in December, 2024, surpassed all previous sales records, even higher than the total number of cars sold by many other car companies in the whole year in the Vietnamese market.

These positive results can be attributed to the stable sales growth of most car models, of which VF 5 is the best-selling model in the product range, whilst it was also the best-selling model in the domestic market in 2024.

Duong Thi Thu Trang, deputy general director of VinFast Global Sales, emphasised that VinFast has overcome numerous challenges thanks to its resilience, relentless efforts, and constant innovation to achieve business results beyond expectations in 2024.

“I would like to extend sincere thanks to joint efforts of distribution partners and trust of domestic consumers that have contributed to turn VinFast into the No. 1 car company in the Vietnamese market. We are committed to continuing to make greater strides to better meet the expectations of customers,” she stated.

VinFast's long-term commitment to supporting customers is demonstrated through practical policies, including the extension of the free battery charging scheme for individual customers until June 30, 2027.

The company has also signed a number of co-operation agreements with seven major insurance partners to shorten the time for appraisal and incident handling.
