VinFast cars set for roll out in North America and Europe

VOV.VN - Vinfast Trading and Service Limited Liability Company has officially put its subsidiaries in the United States, Canada, France, Germany, and the Netherlands into operation as they prepare for the launch of their latest models in these markets.

These nations represent the five major markets targeted in VinFast's business plan, with the company attracting several experienced automotive and business experts from a variety of leading car manufacturers such as Tesla, BMW, Porsche, Toyota, and Nissan to expand their network of partners and to prepare for market entry.

VinFast has developed a strategy which is flexible to the characteristics of each market, suits customer needs and the various operating conditions of each respective country.

Jeremy Snyder, chief growth officer at Vinfast America, expressed his confidence that VinFast’s vehicles can compete with the leading brands in the US due to their latest smart cars.

In line with the current plan, VinFast will officially put on sale two smart electric car models VF e35 and VF e36 globally in March, 2022. These models represent outstanding electric SUVs which feature impressive exterior designs and class-leading amenities, thereby meeting the highest safety standards set by both the NHTSA and EURO NCAP.

Thai Thi Thanh Hai, global general director of VinFast, emphasised that the ban on the sale of cars which use internal combustion engines to encourage the switch to electric cars in Europe and North America has opened up fresh opportunities for VinFast.

This chance will allow the Vietnamese firm to penetrate the international market thanks to its product quality, flexible sales policy, and Asian-style after-sales service.

In parallel with greater market expansion, VinFast also plans to promote international co-operation to improve product quality and class with the company's strategic partners being leading names in the technology and automotive industry such as Pininfarina, ZF, Durr, Bosch, ABB, Faurecia, Dassault, and Google.

To mark the occasion, VinFast officially announced the VinFast EV Day 2021 event which will be held this October with the aim of introducing a portfolio of completed electric cars.
