Vinamilk starts phase 2 of its organic farm in Da Lat
VOV.VN - Vinamilk has announced phase one of its organic farm in Da Lat is fully operational and it is flipping the switch to the on position for phase two, reports the Vietnam News Agency.

Phase one of the farm began in 2014 with a herd of 500 dairy cows. It became the first farm in Vietnam certified to a EU standard last year, when the Dutch Control Union inspected and licensed its operations as organic.
In June 2016, the company’s organic milk was certified in compliance with USDA standards.
The dairy cows on the farm are free-range and organic fed, with open housing systems. Crops are rotated to ensure the soil is replenished with no use of chemicals or non-organic fertilizers.
