Vinalines provides new cold storage services
The Vietnam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines) said it has partnered with O’s&Tec Joint Stock Company of Japan to implement a cold storage project for the transportation of fresh food and fruits.
The Hyokan Soko new-generation refrigerated container has been used in Japan since August 2017 and first utilised in Vietnam by Vinalines.
On December 16, the two sides will introduce this technology to customers at an event held in the northern port city of Hai Phong, a representative from Vinalines has said.
The Hyokan Soko refrigerated container could preserve food without freezing while keeping their tastes in the long duration.
