VIFA Home 2018 to feature more than 600 pavilions

VOV.VN - The Vietnam furniture & home furnishing fair (VIFA HOME 2018) is set to take place at Phu Tho indoor competition house in Ho Chi Minh City from November 16-19, promising an interesting destination for visitors to browse and buy a new look for their homes later this year.

At a May 25 press conference to introduce the fair, Huynh Van Hanh, vice president of HCM City Handicraft & Wood Industry Association (HAWA), said VIFA Home 2018 is expected to attract more than 600 pavilions of timber production, handicraft, and interior decoration businesses from key regions such as Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, and Dong Nai.

They will introduce domestic customers to their ranges of diversified high quality products with modern designs.

The fair aims to create cooperation opportunities among businesses, craft villages, cooperatives, producers, design and architecture consultants, and other support services.

It will also make a link in the chain of supply and production of legal wood products with the message of encouraging people to plant forestry, developing the forestry economy, improving people’s living conditions, and protecting the environment, said Mr Hanh.

The organizing board will offer many incentives for companies who register to display their products at the event.
