Vietnam’s biggest IT outsourcing conference concludes
(VOV) - The 2015 Vietnam Information Technology Outsourcing (VNITO) Conference, held October 14-17 at the Reverie Saigon (Times Square) in Ho Chi Minh City, was a huge success, say the organizers.
They said it attracted nearly 400 local and international business leaders, government representatives, entrepreneurs and members of academia including representatives from about 100 foreign companies.
The event also saw the participation of reputable senior experts from IDG, Gartner, KPMG, McKinsey who offered highly creditable insights into the latest trends in the industry.
On October 15, the first ever Outsourcing Excellence Awards ceremonies were held to honor 33 of the nation’s top IT outsourcing companies for their achievements in the field of ITO/BPO (business process outsourcing).
In addition, the conference launched the first ever Vietnamese ITO/BPO Business Directory at www.vietnamitodirectory.com.
Organized by Quang Trung Software City in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association, the two-day conference sought to promote Vietnam as an emerging IT outsourcing destination.
