Vietnam’s auto parts and services expos open in HCM City
A series of international trade exhibitions for the automotive service and spare parts industries kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City on June 19.
Jointly organised by Yorkers Exhibition Service Vietnam Co. Ltd. and Messe Frankfurt (China’s Hong Kong), Automechanika has gathered over 400 exhibitors from 16 countries and territories, with more than 980 booths showcasing a wide range of products and technologies in automotive components, electronics, repair and maintenance, bodywork, accessories, and customisation.
Prominent global brands, including VinFast, SPG, and Geekplus, are among the exhibitors, offering visitors hands-on experiences with electric vehicles, low-carbon transport solutions, and intelligent logistics robotics.
The exhibition also features a dedicated "automotive mobility solutions” zone, addressing emerging trends in energy transition, new energy vehicles (NEVs), smart manufacturing, AI, and automation.
A mobility solutions conference and entertainment programmes such as autoFEST add further value to the event.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vu Ba Phu, director of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, highlighted Vietnam’s fast-growing automotive market, which is projected to grow by 12% in 2025.
He noted the exhibition provides a vital platform for domestic and international enterprises to connect, promote investment, and exchange technologies.
Messe Frankfurt Managing Director Fiona Chiew emphasised Vietnam’s rising status as an attractive investment destination and a growing hub for the automotive supply chain, driven by the country’s energy transition and industrial transformation.
The event is expected to attract around 24,000 visitors from 40 countries and territories during its three-day course, reflecting strong international interest in Vietnam’s dynamic automotive industry.
