Vietnamese processed chicken officially exported to Singapore
VOV.VN - C.P. Vietnam Joint Stock Company announced the first export shipment of its processed chicken to Singapore on December 16 at Becamex Binh Phuoc Industrial Park in southern Binh Phuoc province, while also receiving three awards at the FMCG Asia Awards 2025 and Manufacturing Asia Awards 2025.
The approval for CPV Food Binh Phuoc Plant to export processed chicken to Singapore marks a major milestone for C.P. Vietnam in integrating into the regional processed poultry supply chain. It also affirms the company’s ability to meet the stringent quality standards of high-end markets.
Earlier, in March 2025, Singapore officially authorized the company to export heat-processed poultry products, as well as eggs and canned poultry (excluding beef), sterilized at high temperature and pressure.
This is considered a significant step forward for Vietnam’s livestock and export sector and is expected to open plenty of opportunities for other Vietnamese businesses to access Singapore’s market, which enforces strict import regulations and standards.
C.P. Vietnam’s processed chicken is produced under a fully integrated process at the CPV Food Binh Phuoc complex, holding international certifications such as HACCP, BRC, ISO 22000, and Halal, meeting the rigorous export standards of regional markets.
Prior to Singapore, the products had been approved for export to Japan, Hong Kong (China), Cambodia, and Laos; in Japan alone, shipments reached 10,000 tons as of November 2025.
The company’s processed chicken has now entered Singapore,a market known as one of the most demanding in the world for food safety, adding to its existing exports to Japan, Hong Kong, Cambodia, and Laos.
Alongside achieving eligibility for “the world’s most stringent food safety markets,” the company also secured three major awards at the Martintucup, FMCG Asia Awards, and other prestigious international recognitions that honor leading companies in the fast-moving consumer goods sector in Asia.
Wirat Wongpornpakdee, Senior Executive Vice President for Food and New Business Development at C.P. Vietnam, said that meeting the expectations of premium markets requires consistent and disciplined operations over the long term. He said hopes the acceptance of CPV Food’s processed chicken in the region’s most rigorous markets will further enhance Vietnam’s reputation in the high-quality food supply chain.
He added that C.P. Vietnam will continue to strengthen sustainable production practices and expand export capabilities, thereby boosting the competitiveness of Vietnamese poultry products in both regional and global markets.
