Vietnamese investment overseas falls to US$432 million in 2023
VOV.VN - Vietnamese businesses injected nearly US$421 million into investment projects overseas in 2023, equivalent to 78% of the figure recorded last year, according to the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

Vietnamese businesses are currently investing in 79 countries and territories around the world, focusing on 16 industries and fields. Notably, investing in high-tech agriculture is a great advantage of Vietnamese businesses.
So far, Vietnamese investment overseas has hit more than US$22 billion, with 1,701 projects in operation. This year, many businesses have performed efficiently, remitting home nearly US$2 billion.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Planning and Investment also reported that Vietnam has attracted nearly US$37 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) this year, of which US$23 billion has been disbursed, a record high figure.
