VOV.VN - A delegation of Vietnamese businesses took part in the IndiaSoft Expo (Bharat Tech) 2026 held in New Delhi from March 23 to 25, aiming to expand partnerships and explore opportunities in India’s technology market.
Organised by the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council of India (ESC), Bharat Tech is among India’s leading exhibitions in information technology and electronics.
The Vietnamese delegation comprised representatives from the Vietnam Electronic Industries Association (VEIA), the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA), along with around 30 companies operating in software, IT services, electronics, and digital transformation.
As the guest of honour, the Vietnamese delegation attended the opening ceremony, which was also joined by Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu. The Indian side highlighted its growing role in the global technology value chain and expressed a commitment to advancing international cooperation in innovation and digital transformation.
On the sidelines of the expo, the Vietnam Trade Office in India facilitated a working session between the Vietnamese delegation and ESC. Discussions focused on expanding cooperation in electronics and digital technology, including the development of electronics supply chains, software outsourcing and IT services, technology transfer, innovation, and the promotion of regular B2B networking activities between the two countries.
The participation of Vietnamese associations and businesses at the event underscores the potential for deeper cooperation in information technology, electronics, and digital transformation - key pillars in Vietnam–India economic relations in the coming years.
