Vietnamese goods go on show at SIAL InterFood in Jakarta
VOV.VN - Over 20 major domestic exporters of agricultural products and food technology have put their products on show at the SIAL InterFood exhibition, which opened in Jakarta on November 13.

SIAL InterFood is an annual event in Indonesia which aims to introduce a variety of global food products, beverages, processing additives, technological advances, raw materials, services, equipment, and machines used within the field of food processing.
This year has seen a number of popular local brands showcase their goods at SIAL InterFood, including the Northern Food Corporation, Vietnam Cocoa Joint Stock Company, Tam Dao Bee Joint Stock Company, Sun House Group, Kangaroo Group, and Trung Nguyen Coffee Company.
In addition, several domestic export enterprises such as the Vietnam Food Joint Stock Company, Duc Thinh Company, and Nghi Son Seafood Company have attended the event for the first time, leaving a positive impression on both importers and retailers worldwide.
Also in attendance at SIAL InterFood was the Vietnamese Embassy in Indonesia who have set up a booth to introduce many of the nation’s strong agricultural and aquatic products. Items on show to international importers and retailers include cashews, pepper, rice, coffee, tea, and dragon fruit.
At the fair, several domestic enterprises have successfully clinched new partnerships, creating fantastic opportunities to export high-quality local products to the Indonesian and global markets.
During the four-day event, domestic firms will also be attending a number of sideline activities such as seminars, trade exchange progammes, and trade fairs.
Working in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the Indonesian Food and Beverage Association, the Vietnamese Embassy in Indonesia will host a trade seminar that seeks to create additional opportunities for businesses from both Vietnam and Indonesia to come together and strengthen future trade links.
