On display are more than 5,000 advanced technology solutions across 21 key sectors of the food production chain. Prominent global brands such as Intralox, Nitta Corporation, and Maruyasu Kik are also exhibiting their products and technology solutions there. 

According to Ta Duc Minh, Vietnam’s Trade Counselor in Japan, the Vietnamese food industry is transitioning towards sustainable export growth, and FOOMA Japan is a valuable opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to introduce their products, explore cutting-edge innovations, and strengthen international partnerships.

Minh noted that with global consumer demand rapidly shifting toward processed foods and health-conscious beverages, key priorities for enterprises include traceability solutions and eco-friendly packaging. He urged Vietnamese firms to adapt swiftly to these trends to enhance their export potential.

The Trade Counselor also emphasised the importance of leveraging the expo to access the latest technology, gain a deeper understanding of Japanese consumer preferences, and improve competitiveness. Vietnamese companies, he said, must continuously upgrade product quality, apply modern production technologies, and meet increasingly stringent international standards in order to build a strong national brand in the processed food sector.

By taking full advantage of the opportunities presented at FOOMA Japan 2025, Vietnamese food businesses can position themselves for deeper integration into the global value chain and make significant strides in product innovation and quality enhancement, he stated.
