Vietnamese firms attend virtual international economic fair in Algeria
VOV.VN - Two Vietnamese businesses, Hanoi Trade Corporation and An Thai Coffee Joint Stock Company are participating in the first virtual international economic fair after its launch in Algeria on September 13.
The trade fair, which is being organised by Andalus Trade, Show, Exhibits and Events, has drawn together several Algerian businesses and 10 foreign exhibitors from nations across the world, including the United States, China, the UK, India, Indonesia, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Vietnam is the guest of honour at the event, according to the Vietnamese Trade Office in the North African country.
The 15-day fair, the first of its kind to be held in Algeria and Africa, is taking place following the Hala China exhibition that was co-hosted by China and the UAE in the Emirati city of Dubai.
On the organisers’ website, the Vietnamese Trade Office has detailed the country’s current economic and trade situation, trading ties between Vietnam and Algeria, in addition to the office’s contact details as well as future business opportunities between the two sides.
Abderraouf Mounir Doudi, director of Andalus Trade, Show, Exhibits and Events, said the event serves as an ideal venue in which companies and entrepreneurs from around the world can introduce their products while seeking partners in various sectors such as industry, agriculture, information technology, health, and pharmaceuticals.
