Vietnamese enterprises elevate brand value, expand global market reach
VOV.VN - Long-established enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City within the "High-Quality Vietnamese Goods" ecosystem are reinforcing their sustainable standing by preserving domestic brand identity, accelerating green transition, adopting advanced technologies, and expanding international market reach.
Preserving domestic brand identity and pioneering green transition
In the dairy sector, Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) currently exports to 67 countries and territories. The strategic decision to forgo joint ventures with foreign investors in the late 1990s enabled Vinamilk to preserve and build an independent Vietnamese dairy brand.
Do Thanh Tuan, Corporate Affairs Director at Vinamilk, noted that the company not only researches products tailored to Vietnamese nutritional needs but also learns advanced global technologies to serve domestic consumers, while actively sharing expertise to elevate Vietnamese brands globally.
Committed to sustainable development, Vinamilk became the first dairy company in Vietnam to achieve carbon-neutral Net Zero certification across four affiliated units, including three factories and one farm. The enterprise aims to achieve Net Zero across all 31 domestic and overseas units by 2050.
According to Vu Kim Hanh, Chairwoman of the High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Business Association, strong cooperation among industry leaders has built a supportive business ecosystem, giving rise to specialized networks such as the Leading Business Club, Green Startup Club, and Young Agri-business Club.
Investing in technology, asserting business acumen to earn global trust
In the private sector, Asia Bakery Confectionery Joint Stock Company (ABC Bakery) has solidified its market position through strict quality standards and continuous innovation. In addition to supplying major fast-food chains and domestic retailers, ABC Bakery exports over 60 containers per month to Japan, with plans to expand production capacity to 100 containers monthly.
Kao Sieu Luc, General Director of ABC Bakery, stressed that survival hinges on product quality derived from three core elements: quality raw materials, advanced technical expertise, and modern machinery. Automating production lines has boosted high efficiency while ensuring strict compliance with international food safety standards.
The success of long-standing brands such as Vinamilk, ABC Bakery, Thorakao, and Minh Long highlights a shared focus on sustainable growth among business leaders, encompassing successor training, machinery modernization, research and development (R&D), digital transformation, and green transition to optimize costs and safeguard consumer health.
Amid rising global market demands, the vision and resilience of corporate leaders, across both state-owned and private sectors, propel Vietnamese enterprises to continuously innovate, enhance competitiveness, and build lasting international trust in Vietnamese goods.
