Vietnamese businesses to explore trade opportunities in US this October
VOV.VN - A delegation of Vietnamese businesses operating in various key sectors, including wooden furniture and consumer goods, will carry out trade promotion activities in the United States in October 2025, aiming to boost exports and strengthen bilateral trade between Vietnam and the US.

The programme, scheduled from October 23 to October 31, with stops in North Carolina, Seattle, and San Francisco, will be organised by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in collaboration with international partners, the Vietnam Trade Office in the US, and major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Wayfair.
The event aims to help Vietnamese businesses to access modern distribution ecosystems, expand market connections in the US, and increase bilateral trade turnover.
The trade delegation will highlight the numerous achievements recorded by the Vietnam National Brand Programme over the past 22 years during the High Point Market 2025, one of the world’s premier furniture and interior design trade fairs. Priority industries include wood products, furniture, interior décor, and other high-potential export sectors.
As part of the programme, a business matching session between Vietnamese and US firms will be held at Amazon.com’s headquarters. As the world’s largest e-commerce platform, Amazon is renowned for its global sales network and diverse service ecosystem.
Operating in multiple international markets, Amazon offers hundreds of millions of products across consumer goods, technology, fashion, and digital services. With annual revenues exceeding US$500 billion and millions of active sellers, Amazon plays a leading role in shaping global online shopping trends.
Vietnamese businesses will also connect with Wayfair.com, a leading platform for furniture and home décor attracting millions of consumers worldwide. Wayfair ranks as the second largest furniture company globally, linking millions of customers with over 11,000 sellers worldwide.
