Vietnam showcases signature products at Hong Kong food expo
VOV.VN - Twenty Vietnamese enterprises are showcasing their signature products at the 35th Hong Kong International Food Expo which opened at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on August 14.

At this year’s event, the Vietnam Consulate General and the Vietnam Trade Office in Hong Kong put up a joint pavilion featuring six Vietnamese companies. They presented signature food and agricultural products such as rice, coffee, macadamia nuts, premium bird’s nest, dried seafood, and nutritious dried garlic.
The Vietnamese booths were designed with vibrant colours and distinctive product imagery, making them stand out at the fair. The businesses carefully selected and beautifully displayed their products, offering on-site tastings to attract visitors and potential buyers.
According to Vu Thi Thuy, Deputy Consul General and Head of the Vietnam Trade Office in Hong Kong, Vietnam’s food exports to Hong Kong reached US$372.7 million in 2024, and US$212.9 million in the first half of 2025 alone, up 19.1% year on year.
She highlighted the sector’s strong potential, especially as Vietnamese products become increasingly diverse, visually appealing, and higher in quality, attracting both global and Hong Kong consumers.
“This is a great opportunity to promote Vietnam’s rich and dynamic food industry to international and Hong Kong markets, with the hope that Vietnamese products will gain a stronger presence here,” said Thuy.
The International Food Expo is one of Hong Kong’s premier events in the food industry, serving as a key meeting point for leading exporters and importers from both regional and global markets and drawing thousands of buyers and exhibitors from around the world each year.
