Vietnam ranks 56th in Chandler Good Government Index 2022

VOV.VN - Vietnam has been placed 56th among 104 nations in the Chandler Good Government Index (CGGI) 2022.

In the lower-middle-income nation group, Vietnam ranks third thanks to boasting an attractive marketplace with high levels of social mobility.

The Chandler Institute also placed Vietnam 42th for income equality and 39th in attracting investments, up 33 places and 18 places compared to 2021, respectively.

Elsewhere Finland tops the latest rankings whilst Venezuela stays at the bottom.

The Chandler Good Governance Index is compiled by the Chandler Institute of Governance which has its headquartered in Singapore. 

The index is calculated on seven pillars, namely leadership and foresight, strong institutions, robust laws and policies, an attractive market place, financial stewardship, social mobility support, global influence, and reputation.
