Vietnam-Japan Friendship Industrial Park inaugurated in Can Tho

VOV.VN - The Vietnam-Japan Friendship Industrial Park (VJFIP) was inaugurated in Can Tho on November 3 within the framework of a program to mark the 45th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic ties and the fourth Vietnam-Japan cultural and trade exchange programme.

Present at the inauguration ceremony was former President Truong Tan Sang, leaders of Can Tho City, the Japanese Consul General in HCM City and many other Japanese businesspeople.

VJFIP is located at Tan Phu ward, Cai Rang district. It will be a structure which meets the standards of a green and modern industrial park. Transport infrastructure, irrigation, water supply and lighting systems in the park have been completed and are ready to meet the demands of Japanese investors.

Lying around 5km from the centre of Can Tho City and about 15km from Can Tho airport, VJFIP has a favourable position close to the waterway and roadway. As well as the favourable position, the park also has facilities for Japanese experts and businesspeople to live and work such as the Cadif apartment building which was built at Hung Phu ward, Cai Rang district, close to the park.

At the inauguration ceremony, Vo Thanh Thong, chairman of Can Tho City People’s Committee said on behalf of the Can Tho Administration he pledged to create the best possible conditions for investors, including Japanese businesses to operate effectively in the park.
