Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 to attract 300 buyers from 60 countries
VOV.VN - Over 300 importers and suppliers from 60 countries and territories worldwide are set to participate in Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 (VIS 2025) and the Ho Chi Minh City Export Forum slated for September 4 - 6 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event, to be organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in co-ordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, in conjunction with the International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC), aims to promote trade and tourism connections between Vietnam and global partners.
According to the organisers, VIS 2025 will showcase more than 12,000 products from four major product groups, presented by over 400 Vietnamese enterprises across 500 booths. International buyers will be able to source suppliers in diverse sectors including machinery, textiles, leather and footwear, food and beverages, handicrafts, and furniture.
The event will also facilitate extensive B2B (Business-to-Business) networking between Vietnamese companies and large distribution corporations, international purchasing groups, and domestic as well as global e-commerce platforms. Thousands of direct business connections are expected to be established, opening up new opportunities for cooperation across multiple industries.
In addition, specialised conferences and seminars will provide Vietnamese firms with insights into market trends, consumer preferences, and the latest regulations and requirements of key export markets. Meanwhile, international buyers and distributors will gain a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s production capabilities, supply potential, and development strategies.
Alongside traditional markets such as the United States, the EU, Japan, and the Republic of Korea, this year’s edition will also welcome a growing number of purchasing delegations from emerging regions including the Middle East, Latin America, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and South Asia.
The event is expected to attract around 10,000 domestic and international visitors. Beyond serving as a trade and sourcing hub, VIS 2025 will also act as a platform to promote Vietnamese tourism, showcase cultural values, and enhance the country’s image on the global stage.
