Over 40 Philippine firms to seek supply chain partnerships at VIS 2025
VOV.VN - More than 40 Philippine companies, represented by a 105-member delegation, will travel to Vietnam to seek trade and supply chain partnerships at the Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 (VIS 2025), scheduled for September 4–6 in Ho Chi Minh City.

This will be the largest-ever Philippine business delegation to attend the annual sourcing event, surpassing last year’s record of 70 delegates from over 20 firms, according to the Vietnam Trade Office in the Philippines.
The delegation covers a diverse range of industries, including logistics and transportation, pharmaceuticals, food processing, e-commerce, healthcare, education, paper manufacturing, retail, agriculture, seafood, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and plastics.
Prominent participants include leading Philippine corporations such as EDL Group, Airspeed Group of Companies, SPD Group, Lloyd Laboratories, MH Food Group, Go Food Ventures, Prestige Paper Products, and AM-Europharma Corporation.
“With a record number of Philippine enterprises participating in VIS 2025, it’s clear that Vietnam is increasingly seen as a key destination for Philippine companies seeking trade opportunities and reliable sourcing to meet growing consumer demand,” said a representative of the Vietnam Trade Office in the Philippines.
The Philippine business delegation’s agenda will include market exploration visits, meetings alongside Vietnamese government agencies, an investment promotion conference, B2B trade promotion activities, participation in the Global Supply Chain Connection event series, and site visits to Vietnamese production facilities.
Vietnam International Sourcing has been an important event organised annually by the Ministry of Industry and Trade since 2023, aiming to develop export - import markets and ensure long-term sustainable growth.
It encourages Vietnamese enterprises to actively engage in global production, supply, and distribution chains, and to export directly into foreign distribution networks, by promoting their strengths and maximising the competitive advantages of Vietnamese export goods.
