Vietnam Fisheries International Exhibition attracts nearly 200 foreign exhibitors

VOV.VN - The Vietnam Fisheries International Exhibition (VietFish) 2022, the country’s largest fisheries exhibition, kicked off on August 24 in Ho Chi Minh City.

This year’s edition features a total of 385 booths being ran by roughly 200 businesses from 15 countries and territories, including the Republic of Korea, Japan, Germany, Singapore, and China.

On display throughout the exhibition are fresh, frozen, dried, and salted seafood, along with an array of aquaculture farming and processing equipment.

The occasion also provides an important opportunity by providing seafood firms with a platform to showcase their potential and strength to business partners from around the world.

VietFish offers visitors the chance to cook and sample dishes made from fresh seafood such as shrimp, tuna, squid, and octopus. The event will feature several conferences aimed at discussing critical issues including the demand and trends of the seafood market after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Organised by the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), the expo is being held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre and is scheduled to run until August 26, with thousands of visitors expected to be welcomed.
