Vietnam, Czech firms sign MoU on cyber security cooperation
The Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) and the Novicom Company of the Czech Republic have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cyber security cooperation.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Vietnamese Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan said strengthening bilateral cooperation in information and communication technology (ICT) was one of the important contents in the NA delegation’s agenda during its visit to the Czech Republic.
The Ministry of Information and Communications has worked with relevant bodies to complete the legal corridor on information security while cooperating with organisations, associations and enterprises and community to ensure sustainable development of information security, Tuan said.
For his part, Bohussalav Chalupa, a member of the Czech Parliament, said the Czech Republic is willing to share with Vietnam its experience in the sector, including procedures to build legal documents and enhance education-training related to information security.
