Vietnam attends UK's largest food and beverage fair
VOV.VN - As many as eight Vietnamese businesses have introduced a wide range of food and beverage products at the 2024 International Food and Drink Event (IFE) 2024, which is getting underway in London from March 25 to 27, according to the Vietnam Trade Office in the UK.
Vietnamese booths received great attention from visitors with items such as grapefruit, guava, durian, red-fleshed dragon fruit, Lai Thieu mangosteen, frozen seafood, dried noodles of all types, coffee, and tea and coconut products on show.
Hoang Le Hang, first secretary of the Vietnam Trade Office in the UK, said the event has created a wealth of opportunities for firms to meet potential customers and grasp market trends. She encouraged Vietnamese businesses to seize the opportunity to provide a stable, high-quality, diverse, and abundant source of goods to the UK market.
Nguyen Thi Hanh Huong, operations director of Ben Tre Betrimex Import-Export Company, said the fair offered an opportunity for her company to reach out to potential customers, including those from major UK retail chains.
As the UK's largest annual international food and beverage fair, this year's event attracted nearly 1,000 businesses from 102 countries worldwide and 27,000 British and international businessmen.
