Vietnam attends Electrical and Electronic Industry Fair in India
VOV.VN - The 15th edition of ELECRAMA 2023 took place in India from February 18 to 22, attracting the participation of nearly 1,000 exhibitors from around the world, including 27 Vietnamese businesses
Opening with the theme of “Powering the future of energy”, the fair focused on future cutting-edge innovations and technologies, including green hydrogen, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, fuel cells, power storage systems, and smart consumption.
The 27 Vietnamese firms present at the function mainly operate in the fields of electricity, electronics, mechanics, and automation equipment.
On this occasion, the Vietnamese Trade Office in India and the Embassy of India in Vietnam in collaboration with the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA) organised trading sessions for Vietnamese businesses at the fair.
The trade exchange helped Indian partners to gain greater insights into business opportunities in the Vietnamese market, while local enterprises had the chance to meet prestigious Indian and international manufacturers and customers.
Through the event, IEEMA proposed organizing business delegations to Vietnam in a bid to learn more about potential investment opportunities.
IEEMA represents the leading association of electrical, industrial electronics, and related equipment manufacturers in India.
First established in 1948, IEEMA members have contributed more than 95% of electrical equipment manufactured and installed in India. India's electrical equipment industry is valued at US$50 billion with an export value of US$8.5 billion per year.
